Q. Do I have to be an experienced shooter to join your club and shoot?
A.
No, we welcome shooters of all abilities, if you are a novice, or have never shot before there are members of the club who are willing to coach you on a one to one basis, or simply discuss the finer points of shooting techniques and equipment.

Q. Do I have to have my own gun(s) to shoot?
A.
No, we have a selection of club guns which cover the majority of disciplines that we shoot; you can use these free of charge, for as long as you need. Some of our club members have been shooting for years and still do not own their own gun.

Q. Isn't shooting expensive?
A.
Quite the contrary, membership currently costs £80 per year, and you can enjoy a standard evenings shooting, including range fee, ammunition and targets for less than £3.

Q. Shooting sounds dangerous, is it?
A.
Shooting, when practiced in a controlled environment is one of the safest sports around. We follow strict safety guidelines to maintain the safety of our members and guests.

Q. Do I need my own shooting equipment?
A.
No, although having your own equipment can be an advantage, the club can provide you with all the equipment you will need to get started.

Q. I currently also shoot outdoors at 50m and 100yards, do you have facilities to offer this?
A.
Our club does not have an outdoor shooting range, although we are affiliated with the Bucks County Rifle Association and can offer our members use of the county range at Wendover; this offers 20 positions of 50m and 20 positions at 100yards, these facilities are available most weekends from Spring through to Autumn.

Q. What competitions do you shoot in?
A. We currently run club competitions for all disciplines, in addition we enter club teams for the county and regional competitions; and some members compete at county level in the postal competitions.
